The neighborhood exudes diversity with a strong community feeling and inclusiveness. Ethnic restaurants, cafes and eclectic shops can be found along Baltimore Ave and throughout the neighborhood itself. Take advantage of Clark Park and all of the events if offers throughout the year, such as Shakespeare in the Park, the Uhuru Flea Market and its many farmer’s markets. Public transportation also makes it ideal for those that want easy access to PENN, CHOP and Center City.

Large, classic Victorian twins make up most of the beautiful housing stock with large backyards surrounded by lush greenery. This area is home to the Penn Alexander catchment, which has become one of Philadelphia's leading and most desirable elementary schools.
