Welcome to Northern Liberties
New construction townhomes and condos began to define the residential landscape and values soared as the area was reestablished as a prime location for families, young professionals and hipsters alike. A blend of cultures can be found here and everyone that makes Northern Liberties their home will feel like a welcomed part of the community.
In the early 2000s, developer Bart Blatstein, took a mostly undeveloped piece of land in Northern Liberties and built over 100,000 square feet of residential and commercial space known as the Piazza. Finished in May of 2009, this development spurred commercial and residential builders alike into action. The 2nd street corridor is now home to many restaurants, cafes and shops.
